Can Doom 3 Demo work with 32mb Video Card?

I've tried to run it and of course it won't run.
Is there any way or hack to play it?

There was at least one person that got Doom 3 running on a Voodoo 2, so it might be possible, if not very pleasant to look at...unfortunately I don't know of any guides or anything.
