Great demo! it's just a shame that you have still missed few tricks, such as the jump in map03 http://www.doomworld.com/sda/dwdemo/tv03-015.zip or map29 Blue bars glide is also possible (and even not hard to do).
On the other side I was pleased by very unexpected RJ in map17, and maps 22 and 24 were just ... LOL :-D

the RL trick on map06. i did it some months ago, but i didn't know about the coop demo and thought it's impossible to trigger the exit line with the caco inside.

Ah, clever - I hadn't thought of using the rocket that way.

The caco is certainly annoying, but clearly doesn't render it impossible. Funny, at the Prague LAN, Opulent and I had been trying that for quite a while, with every attempt ruined by the caco. We'd pretty much given up on it and went outside to do some sightseeing, but when we got back, a couple of the Czech guys had nailed it while we had been gone.

Anyway, put together this suggests that in a TAS movie run this map should take something like ten seconds, I guess. It means losing weapons, but that shouldn't cost too much time, especially as in a more optimized run you'd have skipped the BFG in any case.

thanks for tickling my ego, but the 'rocket chase' trick is widespread in zdaemon's rjumping and i've learnt it there. probably from watching some timeofdeath demos. :)

That's what happens when you're a good rocket jumper with freelook and jumping. Maybe you guys should learn some time.

West->East acceleration with one-side wall in doom2 compatibility. I got it periodically during deathmatch on map01 10-12 years ago, but I never knew how to reproduce it
