Nomad Posted July 26, 2009 Butts said:And that storekeeper from some old gameboy version of Zelda that killed you when you stole from him. Fuck that guy! Yeah, as mentioned that was Link's Awakening. But also on the bright side even though he kills you, you got to keep the item! 0 Share this post Link to post
Ninja_of_DooM Posted July 26, 2009 Danarchy said:The Ordinaters or whatever they were called - Morrowind (those guys were such jerks :P) R And let's not forget the bug that meant they would attack you everytime you came into the city, even after the game was finished. And you never became a wanted criminal for killing them like this. I started keeping a collection of their helmets just for fun. :p Sold the rest of the stuff too. Good money. 0 Share this post Link to post
Butts Posted July 26, 2009 That wasn't a bug, If you ever put on their armor they would attack on sight. 0 Share this post Link to post

Belial Posted July 27, 2009 I'm replaying Deus Ex 2 at the moment and I have to agree with people who mentioned NG Resonance. The whole concept that lies behind the character is one of the most interesting ideas I've seen. 0 Share this post Link to post
Georgef551 Posted July 27, 2009 Besides Pitfall Harry, Mario is probably the only other classic charactor mentioned. Mario's actual name was "Jump Guy", when he debuted in "Donkey Kong". People called him Mario, so the name stuck, and the rest, they say, is history. 0 Share this post Link to post

Also, you can at least look shit up on Wikipedia before you spout off "facts". Mario was named after the owner of the warehouse Nintendo used in the US to store their shit stateside. 0 Share this post Link to post

Nearly everything I looked up had errors in them, so if you want to tell me to state facts, Using Wiki as the example, you're being hypicrytical. Super Jamie Posted July 31, 2009 Krispavera said:Shitty? None of the games you listed are shitty! Fucking props at mentioning Laura Bow too, completely forgot about her. *high five* They were good games hey! The Dagger of Amon Ra is probably the best Sierra adventure I've ever played. It was written by Bruce Balfour, who also contributed to many classics like Neuromancer, Battle Chess, Wasteland and Outpost. Wasteland is especially important, many consider it to be directly responsible for the creation of the Fallout series. Another for the list, nobody's probably heard of him, but Les Manley from Lost In LA and Search For The King. Christ they were hard games, my mum and I spent HOURS on them and could never finish one. And the butler from McMurphy's Mansion, which is a text adventure. 0 Share this post Link to post
