Auto Align Textures with vertex inserts

Is there a way to remove this? When I insert vertices on a wall it's more often than not I'm creating a pillar or some kinda border attached to the wall that uses a different texture, and it throws off the alignment process pretty bad, and I have to SHIFT+R on all the textures and align them from scratch. I'd rather all new lines created by vertices get set to 0, 0. Also the unaligned parts helped me locate where the vertices I inserted are in visual mode on larger maps.
