Looping function

Hi, I know someone who does a certain code that allows something to loop constantly at one spot, such as an alias code, only it stays at a spot where he put it at.

How would I be able to do this exact thing? He wouldn't tell me any of this. He used Archvilefire to stay at one spot and then it went out later on.

If your friend's mapping for a ZDoom-based port - something like this in the DECORATE lump will work quite nicely...

}
As for making the fireball go out later, that could be a scripted action or a sector that lowers it out of sight.
