Gez Posted October 14, 2009 What runes? There's no runes in Doom, except for some new powerups in Skulltag. If that's what you're talking about, you lose them by picking up another one or by dying. 0 Share this post Link to post
myk Posted October 14, 2009 If you are indeed talking about Skulltag and you don't want them to show up in a map, there's a dmflags2 setting for that (the value is 4.) If you're playing by yourself, go to the options menu in Skulltag and then gameplay options and set "don't spawn runes" to Yes. The setting should be applied to the next level started. If you're running a server, click the DmFlags Setup button in the Start Server tab of Idese and go to the DmFlags2 tab on the window that opens and check the option there. 0 Share this post Link to post
Genki Posted October 14, 2009 no,i do beg your pardon dude: but you don't understand...here's how to get runes: 1-if you are using" doom builder" edit a new doom2 map. 2-things,keys,players..have a certain patch code example (player1=1,teleport destination=14,imp=3001... 3-the runes are: 1.drain=5102 2.haste=5109 3.high jumper=5108 4.prosperity=5106 5.rage=5101 6.reflection=5107 7.regeneration=5105 8.resistance=5104 9.spread=5103 10.strength=5100 and each rune has a specific effect ex: prosperity increase your defense and health to 250! and everytime you pick new rune, your first rune loses its effect. my question was how to disable the effect in the beginning of next levels,i'll upload my new wad "The Dark Realm" so that you can see! 0 Share this post Link to post
Gez Posted October 14, 2009 Those are the Skulltag runes. They exist only in that port. 0 Share this post Link to post
Torn Posted October 14, 2009 I am pretty sure the effect wears off when you enter another level 0 Share this post Link to post
Patrick Posted October 14, 2009 There is a decorate flag for this, I don't remember it off the top of my head, but I know for certain it exists. EDIT: This is the flag you need: +INVENTORY.INTERHUBSTRIP 0 Share this post Link to post
