flashn00b Posted November 10, 2009 How do i make it so that after a certain timeframe, the background music will instantly rewind to a specific timeframe? Nobody likes to hear a fade-out from a song that's supposed to loop. 0 Share this post Link to post
Nomad Posted November 10, 2009 Don't think you can do that with a standard MIDI, if that's what you're asking. Depends on what filetype you're dealing with otherwise. 0 Share this post Link to post
flashn00b Posted November 10, 2009 Do any streamed formats allow proper looping? 0 Share this post Link to post

You could, in theory, rig up a loop with an Ogg Vorbis or FLAC audio file, and I believe some ports (the ZDoom-based ones? more?) also respect loop points being set in files using a program like Cool Edit or Goldwave. I've yet to experiment with this myself, though... 0 Share this post Link to post
Ed Posted November 10, 2009 Stick with mod files, which have a return to x pattern function that will continuously loop your song. It's not streamed, but it'd do the job 0 Share this post Link to post
