How do I use other midi files?

Hi again,

I want to use either my own external midi file or a midi from a different level and I can't figure out how to get it into my wad. Can someone help?

For that you'll need a wad editor, either XWE or SLumpEd - whichever's best behaved on your PC. Adding external midi files is simply a matter of opening your wad and importing (use Lump/New from File in SLumpEd - Entry/Load in XWE), rename the midi file if necessary so it corresponds to the map number and move it to either the top or bottom of the lump list. Importing midi/mus files from other wads is even easier in SLumpEd - open both wads and copy/paste from one to the other. Save when finished (in XWE that's done when you close the wad) and enjoy.
