Altazimuth Posted February 21, 2010 Where can I find the jDoom Resource Pack download since all the links are either broken or subsription services. 0 Share this post Link to post
Kagemaru_H Posted February 21, 2010 There's a version of jDoom floating around that has the resource pack included. The Google Gods are kind to those who don't post every question on internet forums. They will help with your problem if you just ask them. 0 Share this post Link to post
Altazimuth Posted February 21, 2010 I triied flicking through hundreds of google pages and I got nothing except 404s and subscribe sites. 0 Share this post Link to post
Altazimuth Posted February 21, 2010 After flicking thorugh random google pages and one of the last pages I found! The google gods smile on me. EDIT: It was a dud. I need to find one which uses snowberry rather than kick. 0 Share this post Link to post
Kagemaru_H Posted February 21, 2010 You can use Snowberry with any of them, just make a directory with Snowberry and move the JDRP to it. 0 Share this post Link to post
StevieWolfe Posted February 28, 2010 Unrelated sorta, but I've never been able to get anything to show up in proper 3D with J-Doom. 0 Share this post Link to post
Vermil Posted February 28, 2010 Dday does not it'self make Doom "3D". You need to download the model packs. 0 Share this post Link to post
Gez Posted February 28, 2010 The official site is http://files.dengine.net/ but at the moment all it says is "The download archive is currently unavailable due to excessive use." You could try instead using the Risen3D model packs. It's the same model format and a very similar engine (Risen3D is a fork of Doomsday 1.7.8). http://risen3d.drdteam.org/ 0 Share this post Link to post

Indeed, theres been a dicussion going on about that on the Dday forums for the last two monthes about what to do regarding hosting the addon's. In perhaps typical Dday fashion, taking action seems likely to be deliberate rather than fast. http://dengine.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=292 In the meantime though, near all of the addon's can be gotten via some torrents someone is nicely hosting. http://www.dengine.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=284 0 Share this post Link to post
Kagemaru_H Posted February 28, 2010 When I was using Doomsday with the model packs, the blood became white for some reason. 0 Share this post Link to post
Altazimuth Posted March 1, 2010 I have them but I don't know how to use them under snowberry (note I am not using the exe but the individual files 0 Share this post Link to post
Vermil Posted March 1, 2010 The only real difference between loading an addon, pwad etc in Kickstart and Snowberry is that there is not a seperate tab for deds in Snowberry; you can load ded's under the same tab as everything else in Snowberry. Oh and the button has a "+" on it rather than the word "add". 0 Share this post Link to post
