Axxis DM

Just a DM project I've been working on that anyone can make a map for.
I already posted this on the st forum but all I got was that the maps were ugly and that map 3 needs to get replaces (which will happen).
I posted it here so I could get some feedback on the layout of my maps not my unfinished detail.
(and map 6 will get removed next beta)


*Requires Skulltag as a few of my maps were done for the skulltag speedmapping sessions

Heh I notice that the last 2 shots are maps from the speedmapping session I did with ya :P

Anyway, I might consider making a map since I've never made a Skulltag DM map before.

well the only reason I made all the map in skulltag format was because the map that I already had started before starting this project were using skulltag only features.

but I think I'm going to go back and make the maps all zdoom compatible so it can get more use (as Skulltag doesn't have a good DM community)

I'll just add the skulltag textures that I used so far and add a railgun type gun (as I really like that gun in DM :P )

so I would advise anyone that plans on making a map to make it in zdoom format (both doom and doom in hexen type maps are ok)

Just started making a DM map 2 hours ago.





It will be in ZDoom(Doom format) and it'll be done once I'm satisfied with it.

Update on my map: Nearly finish(in fact I could have finish this sooner but I was sidetrack by other things including my ep2 vanilla project) just making some tweaks and testing with skulltag bots. I will email the map to you once I'm finish.

edit:Its now finish and I've sent it via email attachment to you.

thanks Philnemba I'll give you some feedback on the map as soon as I play it.

I'll get to work on fixing my maps soon (after I finish my cc4 map)

Here is the feed back on your map Philnemba.
I like the area with the pr it was a big enough room to have a fun plasma fight in while it not turning into a total spam fest.
The area with the rl was ok but it felt a little cramped (the rl platform mostly)
Overall Its a fun map but I think it could use a little more hight variation.

Thanks, originally the rocket launcher was where the Plasma rifle was(and Vice-versa) so I switch them cause I felt it was more balance that way. As for the height variation, I agree but personally I like it the way it is(unless you have a suggestion about how it should be done).
