How to edit MAPINFO

Hey, I just want to learn how to edit MAPINFO files so i can make better wads.

Better maps make better wads, not MAPINFOs.

Anyway, use your favorite wad editing tool for that, provided it's one that lets you edit text lumps. Slumped does the job quite well; even has syntax highlighting (though its database is a bit outdated now so there are several keywords it doesn't recognize; but it's not like it actually matters anyway).
