Aliotroph? Posted April 3, 2010 A lot of ISPs still do Usenet. Some don't (they cited kiddy porn as a reason). My ISP still carries it. I don't know anybody who uses it for talking anymore. It used to be cool. JMS would hang out on the Babylon 5 group and talk with people. People seem to use it to grab binaries these days. There are lots of news readers specialized for that. Most of it is just stealing and not with great download speeds. For discussions forums like DW are just nicer. 0 Share this post Link to post
