where do you guys play at?

i've been looking for multiplayer games of doom...i've found lots of servers...what's the most popular client? i love doom deathmatch its unbeatable. i can dm for hours. dwango5 are fun maps has anyone one played htf.wad it'sa great 1on1 map...im just wondering i'm ready to do some fraging ...btw if anyone wants to 1on1 me drop me a line ;)

I recommend using Skulltag. I generally play co-op and GvH, there's always at least one active server.

Odamex is a nice idea, but every time I've tried it(and not a 1am), there was nobody on.

Join a server, someone will join you shortly. Odamex actually has a more active public competitive community than Skulltag! I see people in the lazarus Deathmatch and duel rotation server all the time.

I use Skulltag mostly. I'll switch to Zdaemon if not many people are playing.

Well it's been over a year since I've tried it. Though I don't have much interest in deathmatch or duel, IMO they are extremely boring.

Zdaemon for deathmatch/dueling and Skulltag for coop/new gamemodes. If your into socialising with others in doom I'd suggest zdaemon most of them are pretty decent people, dunno about the french though.

I use ZDaemon almost all the time. IDE works well to pop in and play a few on the other ports though.

I use ZDaemon as well, for duels, Team Deathmatch, CTF, and FFA. I occasionally play survival, too.
Last thing I played on Skulltag was some good Ultimate NMD Survival, on one of Supergod's servers I think. I also play duels from time to time, but that's about it. I'm not that much into GvH/AoW.

The french are invading lower the portcullis D:.

I guess there are some decent french who I personally have gotten on with abit like Fsn76, Dark, Wilou, Nok n Bonjour. Other than that majority of the czech, english, finnish, american community pretty much know who and what I'm on about :P.

Skulltag needs to get back to CTF it's decent on that port and pretty fun with the modded movements.

If you do get into zdaemon though just watch out for trolls, odamex promoters n the frenchies

Those game modes are just run-and-gun, there's no interaction with anyone. Might as well be playing single player.

Although lately I've been turning messages off a lot. I'm getting too old to hear about how "awful" some kids day at school was.
