Urban Brawl Free For All

Recommended Posts

With the ending of sales of Urban Brawl boxed copies, bonus material once unique to retail copies is now available for free from the Action Doom 2 website. Now available to everyone for the first time, the bonus material includes 6 new minigames such as Isle's Casino, Boss Rush, and Zombies! Also available on the official website is the entire Urban Brawl soundtrack released by Ralph Vickers.

Scuba Steve would like to thank everyone who purchased Urban Brawl the last 2 years, and hopes they enjoyed the extra content and the specialized boxes. Hopefully there will be some new Action Doom 2 content available in the future.

I'm still glad I bought the disc copy. Having the case for Urban Brawl on my DVD rack really adds some awesome factor to my collection.

Heh, I just bought a copy of a couple of weeks ago. Not that I regret it.

HURRRR... TITTIES...

Scuba Steve was the best in my book before for making Action DooM, now he's still the best for giving us tits and violence, the two things that make video games great.

Action Doom 3 should come in one of those giant cardboard boxes, like computer games used to show up in. And it should inexplicably come with a cloth map, a medallion, a code wheel, and a copy of a tangentially-related tabloid newspaper that actually provides the solution to a frustrating puzzle.

Oh, so you got the prerelease beta, too? Way to spoil it for everyone.

So can you actually kill the hookers? I got one cornered and beat it for a while but it wouldn't die.

You forgot the pewter miniatures, signed poster, print T-shirt and bumper stickers. Oh and the key chain mascot.

Fourthed.

Edit: Lets make a Google map thing showing locations of all physical copies of Urban Brawl. :P

Edit 2: Map created, lets fill it up. Everyone can edit the map, so just add your town in if you have Urban Brawl.

Why is it in finnish?

Removed the language tag from the URL - I keep my system locale and language as English, but sometimes Google and other websites decide I want everything in Finnish based on IP. Bleh.

Sorry, not a big fan of games that force me to quickload 1000 times for combating armed opponents with a 2x4, boss-fight the designer's ego completely out of context, only to reward my efforts by having the main character get shot out of a skyscraper window to his death after a cheap schlock twist and absolutely no resolution.

Okay Doomworld, you've got graphics and gameplay down, time to go back to gaming school and learn about proper narrative. In the meantime, keep your boxed copy.

Hahah, you didn't find the good ending! (There are IIRC two good endings and three bad ones.)

Startropics already did that so doing so would be a steal of an already existing idea.

The cloth maps were a trademark of the Ultima series, code wheels have been used by countless as a "copy protection" system before CD ROMs appeared, etc. All these things have been done before, it was kinda the point.

Try using the pillow's alt-fire mode - suffocate.

Actually, this mod has more story than you can shake a stick at given how many "levels" there are. As mentioned previously, there are different paths and choices - sounds like you made some wrong choices.
