skulltag problems

Recommended Posts

when i try to run the linux version of Skulltag 0.98a, it says that it's loading the wadfiles and adding skins, then says /mnt/home/linux/skulltag/ :symbol lookup error: /mnt/home/linux.skulltag: undefined symbol: SDL_GetKeyRepeat. Why is this? can anyone help me?

Thanks in advance!

I think i already have the latest version. What version does skulltag require anyways? And does anybody know what SDL_GetKeyRepeat is anyways?

Thanks in advance!

A better place to look would be here:

http://www.libsdl.org/cgi/docwiki.cgi/SDL_EnableKeyRepeat

Skulltag isn't a Python or C# program.

Try installing SDL 1.2.14.

I believe the 32-bit binaries is compiled on Ubuntu 8.10 (Intrepid) and the 64-bit were compiled on 9.10 (Karmic). You can check the version numbers from the Ubuntu package search. For SDL it appears 1.2.13 or later is required.

It works. i just installed the latest SDL RPMs and stuck symlinks in the skulltag directory and it worked!

If you installed into the system directories you don't need symlinks to the skulltag directory.
