1,000th convert mus to mid thread

Hello.

What is the best way to convert '.mus' format music sheets to '.mid' format?

I have to to ask, because I don't know of any modern programs that can.

I understand from what I've read (with no personal experience) that a MUS is a MIDI, but not all MIDI are MUS.

I'm not sure what that is supposed to mean, really. It's basically the same data, in different file formats. Sort of like .bmp vs .png.

The reason not all MIDI can be translated to MUS is because MUS has a limit of 64 KB and it does not support MIDI "level 2" (this has 2 percussion channels and other additions) or other later variations, that were developed after DOOM.
