Hellbent Posted August 8, 2010 SP_DUDE6 (rotting baron on wall) is not listed in d1gfxd2.wad when I use it in the map editor. However, if I look at the lumps in the file it is there as WALL51_4 right under WALL51_1 which is the other doom1 SP_DUDE3 that got removed from doom2.wad Know what I'm talking about? Any idea why SP_DUDE6 doesn't show up in the map editor? Actually, I just noticed that SP_DUDE3 also isn't showing up. Any ideas? Thanks! 0 Share this post Link to post
Dragonsbrethren Posted August 8, 2010 My guess is they're missing from the TEXTURE1/2 lump. Doesn't matter if the patches are there if the actual textures aren't. 0 Share this post Link to post
4mer Posted August 8, 2010 As Dragonsbrethren said. The following patches aren't referenced by the TEXTURE1 lump in that wad: COMP03_9 (computer panel) WALL51_1 (hanging guy) W108_1 (rotting baron) Try this: http://files.drdteam.org/index.php/files/get/49XASVz-lS/d1gfxd2-lumps.zip 0 Share this post Link to post
GreyGhost Posted August 9, 2010 Curious, COMP03_9 appears to be excess baggage. It first appears around v1.666 but isn't used in any textures. As for the other two, I'd say SargeBaldy simply overlooked them when rebuilding the texture lump. 0 Share this post Link to post

When I did, they didn't show up as textures. Thanks for the replies. 0 Share this post Link to post
4mer Posted August 10, 2010 You can either: Replace the TEXTURE1 and PNAMES lumps in d1gfxd2.wad or Make a new wad with just those lumps in. I just tried the second way and checked it works with DoomBuilder 2: I made a new map. Chose Game Configuration: Doom 2. Added resource d1gfxd2.wad. Added resource test.wad. Clicked OK. Drew a box. Changed to 3d mode. Selected texture (SP_DUDE3, SP_DUDE6...) test.wad is a wad containing the TEXTURE1 and PNAMES lumps. Hope this helps. 0 Share this post Link to post
