Tried what? What exactly did you do? I've never even made a conversation script before, but I'm sure I could find out how. Especially because there are numerous resources for finding out what the hell is going on.

also:

ZDoom 2.5.0 only supports the binary format. However, two text formats have been added since. (development version r2561+ only)

I have GZDOOM 1.5.3 wich has Zdoom 2.50 and other things with it.
