Jello Posted November 6, 2010 I don't recall really bawling at any piece of entertainment, but occasionally a movie will make me well up. Most notable is actually in Shaun of the Dead, when his mother comes back as a zombie and he has to shoot her. Who would've thought a joke horror movie would have more impact than say Titanic? That scene also had more acting prowess from Simon Pegg than all of Leonardo DiCaprio's career. I mean come on, it was his Mum. Come and See makes me come close, but it's more of just a depressing sinking feeling. It's like slowly being filled with cement, and even when something horrible happens, you've become desensitized to it, and it doesn't seem that horrible, just expected. 0 Share this post Link to post

Didn't you have to read about the Boston Massacre? I was depressed for weeks when I first learned about it...poor Crispus Attucks... (kidding) 0 Share this post Link to post
DoomUK Posted November 6, 2010 Aside from several movies which have already been listed, I produced a few tears while watching The Bucket List. 0 Share this post Link to post
aca Posted November 7, 2010 The first time a girl let me cum in her butt and I watched her squirt it back out. Yea... that made me cry. 0 Share this post Link to post
Use Posted November 7, 2010 A girl? Oh right, your sister. There I just made everyone cry. 0 Share this post Link to post
Remilia Scarlet Posted November 7, 2010 So, to add one to my list... the TV drama version of Densha Otoko. Cried a few multiple times in the later episodes. Mostly tears of joy, though. I guess I'm a sucker for these kinds of stories. 0 Share this post Link to post

Hellbent Posted November 10, 2010 There are a lot of films that have me tear up, but few that convert me to a pathetic puddle of tears.Lord of the Rings and The Whale Rider both had me bawling like a baby; the only films of the last decade that I can think of that had this effect on me; both out of NZ. Hard for me to say why. People who knock crying are just jealous that they aren't able to be moved by stuff in a profound way. 0 Share this post Link to post

Now Nick Frost's 'death' in Hot Fuzz though I got a bit teary eyed. 0 Share this post Link to post
zap610 Posted November 10, 2010 A few things make me tear up no matter how many times I see them: Futurama: The thing with Fry's brother about how we find out he isn't a big dumb jerk. Futurama: Dog dies at the end. Doctor Who: At the end of "The Family of Blood", when he imprisons the alien family and we find out he didn't run from them out of fear but kindness. Also when it shows the kid during WWI through old age. Doctor Who: At the end of "The Beast Below". That one should be pretty obvious to those who have seen it. Clockwork Orange: Even though it didn't make me cry or even tear, it was the first book that ever really moved me. 0 Share this post Link to post
gggmork Posted November 10, 2010 This youtube made me cry: Also that one time Suttsteve made fishsticks. 0 Share this post Link to post
Kirby Posted November 10, 2010 HWGuy said: Fuck me, I remember that. Good show that was. I know I've teared up from a couple of books though at the moment I can't recall which ones they are. Both Gladiator and Seven Pounds got me at the end (despite being about 12 during Gladiator). 0 Share this post Link to post

I'll second to that, first few times I saw that episode had me well up, also the Simpsons episode "And Maggie Makes Three" gets me every. single. time. 0 Share this post Link to post

Philnemba Posted November 11, 2010 I neglected to mention this but I was actually a bit tearful when Tom Hanks lost the volleyball near the end of Cast Away. Oh and the ending of Megaman Zero 4. Clonehunter Posted November 11, 2010 I remember swelling up pretty good at the end of the South Park episode where Kenny 'died' for a season or so. I also swelled when Spongebob and Patrick almost died in the Spongebob Squarepants movie. gggmork said:Seseme Bun Street Video What the fuck... was that? 0 Share this post Link to post
Nick Perrin Posted November 15, 2010 Shadow of the Colossus. The ending made me bawl decently hard, which is weird because I rarely cry ever, especially not to art. In any case, moreso than weird, I found it awesome. Still don't want to tarnish that gloriously affecting first playthrough with a second run. For movies, I'm sure there have been a few over the years, but can't remember. Shadow of the Colossus just really stands out. 0 Share this post Link to post

myk Posted November 19, 2010 Nothing unusual there. Every vote under 49 for each item means a voter didn't select that item. Out of the 49 participants, four didn't choose movies, for example. What would be odd is votes for any item in excess of 49. 0 Share this post Link to post

bytor Posted November 19, 2010 Reading the testimonies of those on trial during the witch hunts. Pleading for their lives. I cried. I cried the second time I viewed Sling Blade. I cried while sitting at a traffic light in my Chevy Vega listening to David Bowie's Space Oddity. Singing along and started bawling. Long time ago so I don't remember what the hell was going on in my life to have me so depressed. 1 Share this post Link to post
