zdoom and scripting

Hey folks. It's been an awful long time since I posted anything here, but I have a question.

I am using DB 2.0 (finally switched from 1.0) and am looking to utilize the built in ACS functionality.

What I am wondering though, is this: can I still use "Doom in Doom format" in order to run scripts? Or do I have to use "Doom in Hexen format".

Also, if I switch a map in progress from Doom in Doom format to Doom in Hexen format, what kind of damage could I cause to the map?

You need to use Hexen format or UDMF since ACS was not designed for Doom format.

It should convert fine via ZWADCONV
