Stroggos Posted January 10, 2011 Being a fan of the D64Ex project I was wondering what's going with ZDoom's branch of Doom 64? There hasn't been any builds, to my knowledge (and if there has where are they?), and it seems that the source hasn't been touched for a while (since 2010-09-18). Blzut3 Posted January 10, 2011 Waiting for the 3D floors branch to get merged actually. Once that happens I'll be looking into emulating Doom 64's sky hack again. I'm still fairly certain there's no reason (G)ZDoom can't run Doom 64. 0 Share this post Link to post

Gez Posted January 12, 2011 Port != TC. What you speak about was an imitation of the original game, not actually running that original game. ZDoom will not feature extra maps since there's really no reason at all to include extra maps with the port. They'd be just wasted disk space for everybody who do not have Doom 64 and want to use ZDoom for playing other games. 0 Share this post Link to post
