Are Cheat Codes declining in games?

Good riddance to score. People whine about achievements, but really, giving me a stupid high number I can barely keep track of for my performance never made me want to play a game (unless I've got a free morning and a bunch of quarters). I'm glad to see it go.

cheat codes is still very much there. Only they've been promoted to be called gameplay features, and are no longer optional.
