cannot penetrate bushes

I am trying to play THE GOLDEN TRIANGLE map in twilight warrior yet the bushes block my way, I know this is not supposed to happen because I see the guy do it here as if the bushes dont exist:

I have tried to do it in Edge PRBoom and ZDoom yet none of them work. Can someone point me in the right direction.

Your probably missing a dehacked patch. Also lol @ thread title.

As mentioned previously by Captain Toenail just make sure you run the mod with the included dehacked patch "twilight.deh" i.e.

yourportnamehere.exe -iwad doom2.wad -file twilight.wad -deh twilight.deh

That should help clear up your bush penetration troubles.

Or open the map in slumpED, import the dehacked patch as a lump and name it "DEHACKED". That way you won't have to keep having to type stuff into the command line whenever you wanna play the WAD.

Or, make a shortcut and copy

yourportnamehere.exe -iwad doom2.wad -file twilight.wad -deh twilight.deh

into the bar labeled "command line".

That was precisely the nature of the problem.

For everyones benefit, here is the solution to my problem:

I copied the .WAD and .DEH file in int the same directory as my source port and used this command in a batch file(command prompt) to run it with the DEH file:

"C:\Program Files\Edge-1.34\edge134.exe" -iwad doom2.wad -file twilight.wad -deh twilight.deh
