Fulgrim Posted March 22, 2011 http://battlefield.play4free.com/en/ If I had to describe it, I'd say its Battlefield 2 with some rpg elements thrown in. You have to buy weapons and equipment with money you earn in game. Most of the time you only buy them for a set amount of days. But, they are going for the typical free to play mmo setup. So you can buy any gear forever with currency you buy from the store. There are also different types helmets and ammo belts you can buy to customize your character. The game pretty much plays like Battlefield 2. The only things missing are the ability to go prone and every class getting grenades. Right now there is only two maps in the game. Oman and Karkand. There are already a hand full of gear in the store and more should be added soon. The only problems I have had is a few disconnects and some lag here in there. But, they both have been few and far between. I have 3 beta keys to give out. Just shoot me a pm if you want one. The first 5 will get a key. I'll necro this thread if and when they send me some more beta keys. 0 Share this post Link to post
Bucket Posted March 22, 2011 Yeah, I'm not clicking a link that takes me to Youtu.be. That's great that it plays like BF2, though. Did they fix actual bugs or just nerf the game so idiots could play it? 0 Share this post Link to post

So far I have not ran into any of the old bugs that where in BF2.I have also not ran into any major glitches also. Its more of a hybrid of BF2, Battlefield: Hero's and BF: Bad Company games. The game play is straight Battlefield 2. Same with the maps and vehicles. The class setup is from Battlefield: Bad Company and the rpg/store elements are from Battlefield:Heroes. 0 Share this post Link to post
