Was MAP28 from TNT an inspiration for Plutonia atmosphere?

As the title says, I have noticed things in MAP28 and they might be a small part of an inspiration for Plutonia, the second half of Final Doom.

Here the player start is over a starting pad that looks like the one that Plutonia has.

The wood is used for separating areas as a support texture, just as Plutonia.

The map has a big number of Revenants, as Plutonia uses them a lot.

Lastly, Milo designed this level and he is also the other designer of Plutonia with his brother Dario.

So what do you think?
