Super Flip Posted April 5, 2011 Alright, so I decided to get off my lazy arse and learn some things in Doom Builder 2. I took a gander at this tutorial here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q16PbtfLCXk I did everything the vid said, and I came across this slight error: The door functions as it should but the texture is messed up. Am I missing something here? 0 Share this post Link to post
Mechadon Posted April 5, 2011 It's misalgined on the x-axis. Set your texture alignment to 0 and it should look correct. 0 Share this post Link to post
Alphawolf Posted April 5, 2011 You can also just drag the texture by clicking with the left mouse button and moving it, if you have any questions on DB2 ask here there are a lot of functions that are hidden that will save time. Also if you ever encounter a door that doesn't open check out the line that opens it and make sure it is pointed outwards (small line in the middle) by pressing the 'F' key. 0 Share this post Link to post
Mithran Denizen Posted April 5, 2011 Just to add to the above, if you use the visual editor mode a lot, the fatest way to reset a texture offset to zero is to point at it and hit 'Shift+R'. This comes in extremely handy when you have to split up a lot of lines and you don't want Doom Builder 2 to try to keep their previous alignment intact. 0 Share this post Link to post
