Challenge: The Gauntlet

I got close on the 2nd version.
I like this style of 'connect simple blockish map units together' for gameplay. Its a tad restrictive, making it easy to snag on corners and stuff so maybe blowing scale up 150 or 200 %, then adding more monsters to compensate for the additional room or something might help. Its also long to do a max and I tend to prefer shorter maps. The block sound lines were ok but made it easy to use sound to draw enemies out sometimes. Maybe no sound lines and just have all monsters running around pretty much everywhere would be better. Then again, they might bunch up in places, and getting max would be hard without iddt on automap.
