I'm sorry about what you've been through. A month ago I told someone I loved them and it was the first time I ever done that with another, they never answered and I found it hard to deal with as I wasn't used to it, beforehand I had some feeling that something like that could happen and I thought I'd be able to handle it but I guess not.

It can be very difficult to put your feelings out there and become vulnerable, but there are not many more things I can think of that have the potential to be worth it. 

 

Allow yourself some time to understand your feelings, every situation is a chance to learn something. Not too long though, if a relationship is something you want, there's someone out there to whom you are also worth the effort, I'm sure.
