kristus Posted May 28, 2011 I reinstalled windows when I updated my computer a month or two ago and now I installed DB2 again and then copied over all the config files. I thought I did that at least. But lo and behold. DB2 is back to it's awful basics. Is the actual config for DB2 hidden somewhere else? 0 Share this post Link to post
boris Posted May 28, 2011 C:\Users\<your_user>\AppData\Local\Doom Builder or something like that, depending on your Windows version. 0 Share this post Link to post
CodeImp Posted May 28, 2011 Since Windows XP (or was it even since 2000?) it is common for applications to store their configurations in that directory (but the actual directory names differ slightly between windows versions). Starting with Windows Vista it is even enforced that applications can no longer write in their Program Files directory (instead Vista redirects the file access to a user directory). Before you format, backup your user directory! 0 Share this post Link to post
kristus Posted May 28, 2011 That's fucked up. The user directory is shithole of files of assorted relevance in my experience. 0 Share this post Link to post
