Hi I just did e4m1 nightmare and got lucky with a mmh (maximum minimum health) of 71%. Does anyone know what the record is? Is this noteworthy?

It's noteworthy indeed. I went through all the Nightmare demos for that level on DSDA and the highest MMH value I found was 49%. Here's the data for curiosity's sake:

Wow, that's quite a bit of work that you did there. I wonder if there might be an episode movie with a pretty high mmh, since a player would like to start e4m2 with high health. In any case, I can assume this is the record until proven otherwise. Here's the demo.

Just checked all the episode runs and none have a MMH value equal or higher than 71%, so congratulations :)

Just putting a bit more distance on this one. Copying from the textfile

So basically I had a sneaking suspicion that 18.63 wasn't all that
difficult to beat, so I lowered the bar just a bit. In 1200ish attempts
I got 18.63 4 times. In this run, I had a poor first door, can
be reduced 2 tics. I think you can save a tic at the 2nd door,
and I did poorly at the end door as well. I would suspect a top
end of this to be in 18.3x, a beyond excellent stroll at 18.4x
and really good strolls at 18.5x. Granted, the difference between
18.6x and 18.5x is pretty substantial IMO, so I'm going to leave
it at this. Lot of effort for a meme run.
