Cool, I guess it was done by filling the inside of all cyber frames with transparency, and filling the outside with black?

Yeah, neat effect. I honestly couldn't figure out how you did it at first. Though it's limited a lot by the need for a specific map design, I can think of a few situations where this trick could work well.

Yup, and recalculating all of the sprite offsets, which was probably most of the work.

Ooh, good point. The effect might still work though in GL ports with the right sprite clipping settings.

Works fine in any of GZDoom's sprite clipping settings (be it "never", "always", "smart" or "smarter") so it's probably a bug in GLBoom+ rather than a clipping issue.
