Creaphis Posted June 17, 2011 I had this idea a long time ago and I'm never going to use it. Feel free to take the idea or sprites or whatever. MAP01, vanilla compatible. http://www.mediafire.com/?tpm2pby951zpkc0 0 Share this post Link to post

gggmork Posted June 17, 2011 Cool, I guess it was done by filling the inside of all cyber frames with transparency, and filling the outside with black? 0 Share this post Link to post
Mithran Denizen Posted June 17, 2011 Yeah, neat effect. I honestly couldn't figure out how you did it at first. Though it's limited a lot by the need for a specific map design, I can think of a few situations where this trick could work well. 0 Share this post Link to post
DeathevokatioN Posted June 17, 2011 Damn it, I was hoping for a Creaphis map. :) 0 Share this post Link to post
Philnemba Posted June 19, 2011 Might use this on an unfinished vanilla map that I haven't touch for months. 0 Share this post Link to post

Yup, and recalculating all of the sprite offsets, which was probably most of the work. DeathevokatioN said:Damn it, I was hoping for a Creaphis map. :) I'm still toying with the idea. Give me a few more years. 0 Share this post Link to post

Gez Posted June 20, 2011 Works fine in any of GZDoom's sprite clipping settings (be it "never", "always", "smart" or "smarter") so it's probably a bug in GLBoom+ rather than a clipping issue. 0 Share this post Link to post
