Linguica Posted February 25, 2002 OPEN A FOLDER DO VIEW->FOLDER OPTIONS->VIEW TURN OFF "HIDE FILE EXTENSIONS FOR KNOWN FILE TYPES" IF IT IS TURNED ON GO TO YOUR WINDOWS DIRECTORY YOU WILL FIND A FILE CALLED "HOSTS" OR MAYBE "HOSTS.SAM" OR "HOSTS.TXT" IF IT IS NOT ALREADY, RENAME IT TO "HOSTS" WITH NO PERIOD OR FILE EXTENSION THEN GO TO START BUTTON->RUN TYPE "NOTEPAD C:\WINDOWS\HOSTS" ADD THIS LINE TO THE BOTTOM: 127.0.0.1 mediamgr.ugo.com SAVE AND CLOSE THE HOSTS FILE CLOSE AND REOPEN MSIE GO TO DW BASK IN NON POPUP GLORY 0 Share this post Link to post
