ZDoom: A_JumpIf

I'm expirementing use of user variables in decorate weapons.
A_SetUserVar seems to do it's job niceley. But the second I try to use A_JumpIf(user_[xxx] == [whatever], "[state]") It seems like the jump is being ignored. (I'm printing the value of this user variable via acs to understand what's happening better)

Is this normal thing with weapons? Or am I just doing something wrong?
Btw, I'm using GZdoom 1.5.6
