Since I am tired of making Zdoom maps, I wanted to make something for prboom instead, I will be finishing this map as a medium difficulty map with a few hitscanners and tougher monsters mixed in. Please tell me what you think. I have re-used some areas from a couple of my unreleased maps and made quite a large and interconnected map. It worked fine, only slime trail I saw was here: http://i.imgur.com/SAqkl.png Overall, I think it's turning out pretty cool. Nice detail. Although I admit that the first 3 times I played it wasn't so "medium difficulty" to me :P Eventually I managed to kill all the baddies and ended with a decent amount of health and about 20 shells, so I guess that's ok! neubejiita Posted August 25, 2011 Map updated, I have added a hub styled layout to the second courtyard and added a rocket launcher to the map to deal with the larger monsters I have added. Hopefully this version will be popular, this map is for Boom ports as it has too much detail for chocolate-doom, I got a VPO in the first room :). 0 Share this post Link to post

neubejiita Posted September 20, 2011 I have completed this map and uploaded it to /pub/idgames/incoming as hub.zip. I have added many new features to the map and removed others as well as allowing the player to go outside and snipe the monsters through the windows of the buildings allowing you to make the run for the keys a little easier. I have tweaked the gameplay and added a very useful secret area at the start of the map. Hopefully this map will be in /newstuff very soon and will be acessible for those who want to try it out. Also, I have noticed that map18mem.wad, or "Not in my Courtyard" is in /newstuff, so check that awesome map out. Anyway I have really enjoyed making this map and I hope to see a review of it, whether positive or not I know someone will enjoy playing my level. And check out map18mem as well, that wad rocks!
