Transfer Wall Brightness

Can't seem to get transfer wall brightness action to work. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Have a linedef with Action 16 set on it, set to control sector (or, rather, a group of sectors) with a specific tag on it, and it doesn't seem to do anything. I already have a transfer floor brightness on the same sectors which works fine. Am I doing something wrong?

The image below shows one of the areas I'm trying to get this to work, and I outlined the light above in green. As you can see the floor is dark like the rest of the floor around it, but you can still see the light on the sides of the crates.

- make a small triangle sector along each line of the crate you want to be darker, make sector the brightness you want the side of the crate to be, then use ceiling/floor transfers

edit: or just make the light sectors dark and use ceiling transfer

Ooh, good suggestion. That ought to serve me fine, especially since I'm using dynamic lights anyway; just lighting up the ceiling to make the lights actually look like they're on.
