Since it's been so warm, 60 actually did feel pretty cool. the forecast on the radio said "chilly tomorrow, high in the 50s" the radio host realized the absurdity of that comment--50s is still warm for this time of year. Yep - I'm an antipodean, though we're not the one's who are upside down. Weather does seem to be swinging from one extreme to the other and spending less time in the comfortable in-between zone. 0 Share this post Link to post

darkreaver Posted March 25, 2012 When it comes to warmer weather than usual, I think records have been broken almost daily the last few weeks here in Norway (Oslo) edit: between 60-70F daily wtf 0 Share this post Link to post
Sharessa Posted March 25, 2012 Just for context, the a usual winter in Washington is constant rain from October through April or so. We get maybe 2-3 snows a year, usually in January, and usually melting after a day or two. I only remember twice when it snowed before December, and only last year did it ever snow in March. This year, however, started out rather dry. Then, some time in January it started snowing about once a week. It kept doing this until the end of February...where it just started snowing on average every other day and we had constant snow on the ground until the day before spring started. We had about 6" on the ground just a few days before that. Granted, I live in the hills these days, but the lowlands were getting snowed on about half the time we were, which is still WAY more snow than we usually get. Apparently, the local school district is about 2 weeks behind due to snow days. Oregon is having the same weather, apparently. They got a pretty deep snow just a couple days ago in Eugene. Right now it's still fucking freezing and I have to keep the heat on all the time and wear my long johns to bed or else I start shivering. So the rest of the country can shut the fuck up about your heat wave right now. I hope you all burn to death in the sun. 0 Share this post Link to post
