yellowmadness54 Posted March 29, 2012 I'm sure most of you are aware of what EddsWorld is, as its become pretty popular. It is one of the first flash animation series I've ever really gotten into. Edd was an inspiration of mine back when I was "cartooning" Hes been fighting cancer for 6 years, but on March 25th, cancer had won... http://eddsworld.newgrounds.com/ 0 Share this post Link to post
hardcore_gamer Posted March 29, 2012 What's up with all of these famous people dying from cancer? Espy (or whatever that' famous mapper's name was) died from cancer as well did he not? And also that other guy who's name I can't remember. 0 Share this post Link to post

Technician Posted March 29, 2012 I can't say I cared for his work, but twenty-four is way too young to die, regardless. 0 Share this post Link to post
Maes Posted March 29, 2012 "Famous" is a very relative term, unlike sickness and death. 0 Share this post Link to post

Doom_Dude Posted March 29, 2012 Jive also died? I didn't know that. :( 0 Share this post Link to post
betabox Posted March 30, 2012 Yeah there was a thread about it. Wasn't a great December. 0 Share this post Link to post

NiTROACTiVE Posted March 30, 2012 I posted that video in the Flash Games/Movies thread on the bottom of page 2, but I still found this very sad because he was such an inspirational animator, and I'm not sure what will become of Eddsworld now that he's dead. I'm going to miss him. Also, in respose to the small talk on Jive, was this Jive's account? 0 Share this post Link to post

boris Posted March 30, 2012 Since many people die of cancer, heart attack or in car accident it's inevitable that "famous" people and people from the Doom community die of these causes. 0 Share this post Link to post
Jimmy Posted March 30, 2012 This news really got me down. :( This guy's animations were awesome, funny, and a real inspiration. 0 Share this post Link to post
Lüt Posted March 30, 2012 Doom Dude said:Jive also died? I didn't know that. :( There was a thread in Doom General when it happened late last year. Apparently only a few people who had email contact with him found out. Fortunately, one of those people was a member here. 0 Share this post Link to post
Creaphis Posted March 30, 2012 That sucks, I'm sorry to hear he's gone. His style reminds me pretty heavily of Bonus Stage, and the days when I thought that stuff was funny. 0 Share this post Link to post
Csonicgo Posted April 1, 2012 I think I just had my own DWF moment. I have no idea who this guy was. Wow. Anyway, cancer sucks because it's never on a curve. A person can be doing fine and "improving" with chemotherapy then die two days later. 0 Share this post Link to post
