The point is that I DO care about the issues to some degree. I'm just tired of people taking things that have nothing to do with race in any way and making them about race. Yes, I'm talking about Treyvon Martin. I don't care that he's black. I don't. I would have the exact same feelings about the case no matter what race any of the people involved were. Apparently others would change their alliances according to the skin colors involved. And to the mainstream media: Just tell me all of the known facts about the case, and then when you're done, change the topic. I know you're not capable of doing this, but if it did happen, it would be like a weight off my shoulders.

"White bastard" doesn't quite carry the same hatred conontations as "nigger"; if they had said or started to say "cracker", on the other hand, I would fully expect a media blow-out.
