[Boom] The Forbidden Sector -- 1-Map Wad

Hello people!
First timer of these very boards, let's start this first post and thread with something I hope you will enjoy. :)

This is a one-map wad, heavily inspired by JCD's map29 of Survive in Hell. I wanted to create a rather difficult level, I think I have succeded, but it's your task to tell me!
I implemented a couple of coop monsters and some deathmatch starts.

This is a great map dude. Challenging, but not frustrating. I hate chaingunners ;)

One thing, you can run past the bars towards the super shotgun by going up on the little ledge next to them, don't know if that's intended.

I was about to say the same thing, I don't think this is intended as it cuts the map significantly and I found a second exit in the map. This map is challenging, would have done an fda but the yellow key kept killing me, well it's my fault as I don't have the brain capacity to walk through a waterfall.........
Btw this map looks fantastic

Indeed it is intended, as canonball used this for the speed running route. It's quite easy to spot and use. :) as for chaingunners, well hitscanners on open maps are quite a pain, looks their use was quite good here. I'll remember this for future maps. :)

thought I would at least do something, here's a pacifist run, which might lead you to reconsider using a few other types of traps. As the player could simply wander through without an issue unless it's intentional of course.

Well I am stunned. I designed this level with a speed route in mind, but I definitely didn't think a pacifist was possible. :o I'll take into consideration other type of traps for the next time, like using scrolling floors and teleports. :) The secondary exit is meant for OS deathmatching purposes, so one can exit when they reach the frag limit. I am glad you enjoyed the looks of this map, I still think some areas are a little "empty"...
