Piece of Shit Castle I'm Working On

This is a map I made as a christmas present for 40oz quite some time ago but never officially uploaded. I had originally rushed it towards the end and now I've decided to come back to it and add some more to it. It's still not finished (as you can easily tell towards the end), but I'd still like a little bit of feedback on what I've got so far. It should run just fine in prboom.

This WAD was really fun and I really enjoyed it! I thought the design was great and inspiring.

There was a place that the soulsphere was located but it wasn't marked as a secret, and the map said there were no secrets. Was that supposed to be a secret? And were there other secrets in the map besides that one?

Also, how did you get one of the platforms to move up at light speed that raised one of the hell knights in the level, and how did you make one of the book shelves disappear that revealed a revenant?

Pretty neat map all up Craigs. Some good fights to be had, and interesting design overall. The library area was a bit cramped, such that monsters like the revenant and the mancubus were unable to pursue me, but were trapped between shelves and angled walls.

The two sergeants in the lower left corner of sector 178 could be made to face north or north east, as they had their backs to me.

Otherwise, good stuff.

Old vanilla trick that one, though in this case craigs uses extended Boom functionality. If you use a trigger like (iirc) W1 floor lower to highest floor (action 19), but all the floors around it are higher than the floor itself, the floor will instantly rise to the nearest floor, seeing as there are no floors that it can lower to.

The revenant bookshelf is, it looks like, the same thing in reverse.

I'll see if I can give the revenant a little more room to move, and I was actually thinking of replacing the mancubus with something smaller and faster. The library is supposed to be kind of cramped at first though, the idea being to kind of force the player into a game of cat and mouse with the revenant.
