TimeOfDeath Posted May 15, 2012 Update of this: http://ca.news.yahoo.com/annual-review-today-man-beheaded-fellow-bus-passenger-080017662.html WINNIPEG - Vince Li could soon be granted temporary passes away from a mental hospital four years after he beheaded and cannibalized a fellow passenger on a Greyhound bus. EDIT: for the record, I NEKROBUMPED. Dead threads don't say no. 0 Share this post Link to post
Technician Posted May 15, 2012 The man is unfit for society. I'm also glad to see the blood-lust is strong among the Canadian people... 0 Share this post Link to post
neubejiita Posted May 15, 2012 Will this result in TSA and backscatter scanners at Greyhound bus stops? Whenever I have ridden a Greyhound bus I have not felt unsafe, but I am in Australia and we do not have so many problems except drive by shootings in Sydney. TSA VIPR Teams in Greyhound Bus Station Tampa FL 02/16/2010. This is giving them more justification for greater security at bus stops. This is to keep you safe citizen. 0 Share this post Link to post

Aliotroph? Posted May 15, 2012 Pages of comments and not one with anything intelligent to say. I don't think I've ever quite seen that. Even YouTube comments always seem to have at least one constructive post. 0 Share this post Link to post

Radon Posted May 15, 2012 I remember taking the bus to British Columbia to see my girlfriend at the time after the event happened, not a fuck was given but I haven't seen people that paranoid since 9/11. Dare I say, maybe even MORE paranoid.. I was suprised Alex Jones didn't take a trip down and investigated a case for mind control. I'm not sure how it's like now but before you couldn't take one trip without one shmuck commenting on it and the listener bracing himself for violent fury. 0 Share this post Link to post

It's sad it happened, but seriously, when was the last time you heard of this incident in Canada? People of the first world are way to paranoid and insecure. 0 Share this post Link to post

See, before this happened, my friends always came back from Greyhound trips with stories about the biggest creeps ever riding those buses. When this news broke out, I wasn't the least bit surprised. 0 Share this post Link to post
DoomUK Posted May 15, 2012 I'm sure we've all been tempted to snap like that when on a very long bus trip. I'm shocked it doesn't happen more regularly throughout that vast chunk of land. 0 Share this post Link to post

No, I cannot say I've ever been tempted to carve someone's head off with a knife and then start eating them. 0 Share this post Link to post
Phml Posted May 15, 2012 Neither do I. Incidentally, my most disgusting fantasies revolve around murdering released psychopaths vigilante-style. Especially rapists. Chop chop chop. 0 Share this post Link to post
geekmarine Posted May 15, 2012 I was on a Greyhound once where a passenger tried to attack the driver at 3:00 AM, claiming the driver was falling asleep. Fortunately other passengers were able to stop him and he was escorted off by police. In my opinion, riding the Greyhound is something of a risky venture. There's virtually no security and the stations are always cesspools. I've thought many times about how easy it'd be to bomb a bus or something, quite honestly. I think the problem is, though, that it doesn't have the same high profile as the airlines. No one wants to put money into Greyhound security, especially with its reputation in terms of the people who use it. That said, I find the Greyhound to be an interesting argument in terms of security. A terrorist could do just as much damage blowing up a bus as blowing up a plane, but we haven't seen buses get blown up, despite how easy it'd be. What that says to me is that our terrorist fears are greatly overblown. 0 Share this post Link to post
