Nanite10 Posted March 19, 2002 Hello everyone. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for small DOS compatible games? I am making a DOS-C boot floppy and am including some games with it for my 486 computer. These games have to be less than 100KB. Thank you for your replies. 0 Share this post Link to post

dr_st Posted March 19, 2002 I also recommend: Space Commander - smallest DOS game I know - 15K or so. Elite - if Alleycat gets the award for most playability per kilobyte, Elite definitely gets the award for most data per kilobyte. The original CGA game stores the entire game engine and 8 (or 9) galaxies, each with hundreds of planets, and stuff like population, government and market prices for each planet, plus a bunch of special missions, in 74K! The Elite Plus version which provides Adlib sound and VGA graphics is 200-400K or so. 0 Share this post Link to post

pritch Posted March 19, 2002 uh, anyone remeber Snake (navigating through the stars from left of the screen to teh right, not the gay Nokia version) and granny's apple garden? 0 Share this post Link to post
Darkstalker Posted March 19, 2002 The oldest snake game I know is the snake that has to eat apples to get bigger and you died if you hit your tail or a wall. I was king of that game when I was in grade 2. I think it was Dragon Smog or something... 0 Share this post Link to post
