Grazza Posted May 31, 2012 My parents were near Pisa at the time of the first earthquake (about 80 miles from the epicentre). They said that they felt the shaking quite strongly, with beds moving about an inch and the windows rattling to the point where they thought they might break. 0 Share this post Link to post
Technician Posted May 31, 2012 Interestingly enough, they were recently green lighted to drill a hole near the fault for study. EDIT: A number of historical sites were damaged as well. Nothing Roman centric, but an awful shame none the less. I certainly hope people were insured. This was a relatively weak earthquake considering the area. 0 Share this post Link to post
