ProgPower 3 is going to go down in Atlanta November 15th and 16th at the Earthlink Live venue.

How does a progressive / power metal concert relate to Doom? Well, Bobby Prince copied some metal songs for the Doom soundtrack. Err, well, I play Doom and I like this band lineup so fuck you. =)

Devin Townsend, Blind Guardian, Angra, Gamma Ray, Pain of Salvation, Edguy, Threshold, and Reading Zero... of course, with a local a/o unsigned band being the opening act.

Tickets are $80 for a two day pass and at this point I'm just about 99% fucking sure I'll be there. If I can hook a few local hombres into the deal (I'll even pay their way) it's going to be one massive motherfucking road trip.

I'll just take a week's vacation from work, with this concert in the middle of it, enjoy the shit out of myself, get outta there, get back and get so fucked up I don't remember a damn thing. It's a flawless plan!!

So here's my questions for you damn people:

In other news, it's exactly 707 miles from my house to Atlanta, Georgia, USA, North America, Western Hemisphere, Earth, Sol. That's about a 16 hour drive according to this here map thingy.
