Archfile Posted June 17, 2012 sup. I have a odd bug with the mappack i'm making. When I stuffed there some new textures, something odd happened. First, trying with ODamex: http://oi50.tinypic.com/11ttpxy.jpg Yes, theres some HOM's there. Then, ZDaemon http://oi45.tinypic.com/2afg7zm.jpg ZDaemon changes all the textures to bricks. PRBoom doesn't let me in game at all. Anyone know what is going on here? 0 Share this post Link to post

scifista42 Posted June 17, 2012 Once I made a map in ZDoom format and tried to launch it with ZDaemon. The result was that ZDaemon changed all textures to "ASHWALL2". Maybe this is similar - your textures/maps are in format that ZDaemon and Odamex don't know. 0 Share this post Link to post

Gez Posted June 17, 2012 Your texture and pnames lumps would work fine in ZDoom; however engines closer to vanilla will have these problems because these lumps override those from the IWAD. You should delete these two lumps and recreate them, but this time, telling SLADE to import textures from the base resource archive (which you'd have set to Doom2.wad) first. 0 Share this post Link to post
