Yes, of course.

Look for these 2 lines in SNDINFO:

$random menu/quit1 { player/male/death1 demon/pain grunt/pain misc/gibbed misc/teleport grunt/sight1 grunt/sight3 demon/melee }
$random menu/quit2 { vile/active misc/p_pkup brain/cube misc/gibbed skeleton/swing knight/death baby/active demon/melee }

menu/quit1 is for Doom 1, menu/quit2 for Doom2.

Funny thing I noticed is it seems to always play the same noise at specific ticks.

If I launch Doom 2 vanilla and then hit F10+Y before the wipe screen affect can even start (this is launching a demo file), it always plays the archvile roaming noise. If I hit F10+Y as the wipe screen affect is in progress, it will always play the power up noise.

That's Doom's 'random' number generator at work. At such an early point the number of calls will be identical so it will return identical values.
