a couple of editing questions

I was given this to test (apparently the largest doom level there is... over 60,000 linedefs and sidedefs) and was just wondering:

1) Is it possible to edit out things like the sloping floors and scripts (easily) so it could run on only a limit-removing port?

2) exclamation marks at points in the map, could this be due to the fact that it was edited for Hexen?

I really just want to be able to clean it up a bit, hopefully strip it of the zdoom features and remove most of the monsters so that it's no longer a slugfest.

I did not want to create a new thread for this so I will ask here, I am using Doom Builder 1.68 on Linux and I am making a map for Hexen using the Zdoom editing mode and I can not get the scripts to compile. Is there a workaround to get the script compiled when you are needing to compile your ACS scripts?

Actually, I found out that Doombuilder can not run the acc.exe program as it needs to call Dosbox, is there another way to get this to work?

Hmm... Not sure how well this would work out for you, but perhaps you could try compiling your script in Slade 3 instead. That, or just upgrade your version of acc.exe to the Windows one instead of the old DOS one, so that it might be more likely to work in Wine.
