HELP with new computer

Need help playing doom on my new computer. I have 512 mb of DDR 2100, its a 1400 AMD thunderbird, with win2k professional -- what do i need to play ultimate doom and anything doom on windows??? Is the problem the ram that i have, or my OS?

Don't get Zdoom, it is teh ghey. Get Legacy or Prboom.

Legacy is hosted on newdoom, avoid it. Get Zdoom or PrBoom.

get zdoom if you want modern features,

get prboom if you want old-school gameplay,

get Legacy if you are a latent homosexual.
