I've never heard of it, but I'm thinking maybe an app that shows how much battery life you have by showing the various doom faces?

I don't use smartphones but here is a website describing the app, just a battery meter. I really don't like how it says 'armor' instead of 'health' though, bad design choice. Pretty badass idea for a widget, if it actually works that is.

I think it'd even be better if the widget played a soundclip of a monster attacking the doomguy every time the battery dropped an interval of 25%.

It does work. The only reason it wouldnt is if you move the app to sd card.
