mouldy Posted July 23, 2012 I was thinking how handy it would be to have a browser that let me look through my library of doom wads and select individual maps to play from within them at any desired difficulty setting, and have the browser remember which source port and iwad to open them with, and perhaps even allow me to leave comments about the maps, or display information from the text file. Does such a thing exist? 0 Share this post Link to post
Nomad Posted July 23, 2012 Aside from proprietary frontends like JDoom's "Snowberry," here's all the Doom front ends that are available as far as I know: http://zdoom.org/wiki/Frontend 0 Share this post Link to post

GreyGhost Posted July 24, 2012 Adding to the list - KDX is probably the best all-round frontend I've encountered but hasn't been updated in ages. I'm currently using LaunchTool which meets most of my needs though you'll probably need to write a few engine config files for it, or borrow some of mine. 0 Share this post Link to post
mouldy Posted July 24, 2012 thanks. I'm not entirely sure any of these front ends do what i want them to but appreciate the help. 0 Share this post Link to post
